These belt drives come with a billet or cast motor plate that is not marked with a part number. Is your motor plate marked with the part number billet or cast this is the new part number for the updated motor plate.

The motor plate, outboard support, and belt are not compatible between the two fitments.

This motor plate is part number billet or cast. All previous motor plates billet and cast are not marked.

If your motor plate is marked with the number or marked on the face behind the clutch basket.

This change affects the following parts the motor plate, outboard support if used, and the belt. Replacement for primary belt drive kits for Evo Twin cam. Notes about the new belt drives belt drive kits keep the same part numbers, 58 801, 58 7 however the parts in the kit will change motor plate, belt, and outboard support.

Is considered the replacement for that belt fitment be sure to check fitment before buying. It must be used with the belt or since the earlier Evo model's use slotted holes in their frames, the transmissions can then be adjusted to fit the new design without any issues.
